ALICE FALORETTI

Alice Faloretti is a renowned contemporary artist, known for her unique blend of abstraction and realism. Born in Florence, she studied at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts and was inspired by the Renaissance masters and modern movements. Her works explore memory and perception, using mixed media to create rich textures and captivating plays of light. Alice has exhibited internationally, from Paris to Tokyo, and has received several awards, including Best Emerging Artist at the Venice Biennale 2021. Her work can be found in prestigious collections, and she is actively involved in educational projects and workshops.

HER CREATIVE PROCESS

Alice creates paintings inspired by nature, such as caves, mountains and plants. She uses alkyd mediums to achieve fluid textures and vibrant colors. Her work explores the relationship between man and nature, blending real and imaginary elements. Alice likes to paint landscapes that seem both real and fantastical, incorporating subtle traces of human presence. When she paints, she feels in a state of meditation, deeply connected to her art and to the pictorial material.

Alice Faloretti enriches her palette with favorite colors from Lefranc Bourgeois' new Huile Fine range. For her portraits, she uses Unbleached Titanium, perfect for skin tones, Magenta with its vivid purple vibrations, and Red Ocre, bringing incomparable richness. For her landscapes, she chooses Payne's Grey, subtle and unique, Royal Blue, inspired by the ceilings of the Château de Versailles, and Imitation Emerald Green, transparent and nuanced. Alice particularly appreciates the high quality, luminosity, fluidity and smoothness of these oils, offering many possible variations for her works.
