A major painting competition at the most prestigious art and design schools in France and Italy
Lefranc Bourgeois organised a major painting competition in the most prestigious art and design schools in France and Italy to celebrate the launch of its new Huile Fine range. The theme of the competition was sport, a fitting choice just a few months before the Olympic Games, offering participants the opportunity to express their artistic talent.
We are delighted to announce that the competition is now closed and to congratulate the winners from each participating school. Each winner received a prize of €1,000 (incl. VAT) in Lefranc Bourgeois products. Special congratulations to Raquel Nache Lopez from RUFA school, who won this great competition, and to the winners from each school!

AN EXCEPTIONAL JURY
An exceptional jury, comprising artist Rakajoo, Fluctuart co-founder Nicolas Laugero, Beaux Arts magazine director Solenne Blanc and Lefranc Bourgeois, will unveil the winner on June 17, 2024. Rakajoo, known internationally as much for his art as for his sport, the boxer-artist will be present at the Sport is an Art vernissage on June 27 at the Charbonnel boutique. Beaux Arts Magazine is also part of this exceptional jury, and is the number 1 magazine in the art press, dedicated to the visual arts in all their forms and periods. Fluctuart is the latest member of the jury, and the world's first floating urban art center! A place for art, life and celebration.
Leading art and design schools in France and Italy
The competition brings together emerging talent from the most prestigious art schools.
These include the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA), the École des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire (BA Nantes ST Nazaire), the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art (ENSAAMA), the Émile Cohl and the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design de Tours-Angers-Le Mans (TALM).
The competition crosses borders, with the participation of the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome (RUFA) and the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona.
CONDITIONS FOR TAKING PART IN THE COMPETITION
To take part in this competition, candidates had to meet certain conditions.
Their work was assessed by an exceptional jury made up of renowned professionals in the fields of fine art and design.

We invite you to take part via Instagram using #Sportisanart and try your luck at being selected by an exceptional jury. A unique opportunity to be exhibited for 2 months in our Charbonnel boutique at 13 quai de Montebello 75005, opposite Notre Dame de Paris. The winner will also receive a prize of €1,000 (incl. VAT) in Lefranc Bourgeois products.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To take part in this competition, simply follow the rules below:
- Create a sports-themed work on a frame no larger than 40 x 50 cm.
- Post your work on Instagram using #Sportisanart and mentioning the @lefrancbourgeoisofficiel account.
- The deadline for entries is June 15, 2024.
