Venetian Medium

Increase your oil paint’s fluidity with our Venetian Medium. This full-bodied painting gel smooths strokes and makes paint easier to mould.

Rapid drying with a satin finish, it’s made from beeswax, linseed oil and spike lavender. Ideal for alla prima, Impressionist half-paste techniques and superimposing layers. Dilute with 50% turpentine or odourless oil for sfumato finishes.

Setting time: Less than 1 hour.
Drying time: 2 days.
